5th graders making masks!

Using cut paper and found objects, 5th graders 
enjoyed creating masks.

 Masks show symmetry - a type of balance in
which either side of the center line is the same.

Pop Art

Second graders learned about American pop artist, Jim Dine.
They were inspired by his work as they designed their heart paintings.

Students learned that adding white to a color makes a tint!
