and orange acrylic paint to their sculptures!

Using cut paper and found objects, 5th graders 
enjoyed creating masks.

 Masks show symmetry - a type of balance in
which either side of the center line is the same.

Pop Art

Second graders learned about American pop artist, Jim Dine.
They were inspired by his work as they designed their heart paintings.

Students learned that adding white to a color makes a tint!

Building a Snowy Village....

Using the interactive white board, kindergarten students used
 geometric shapes to build a snowy village.


Kindergartners enjoyed tracing, cutting and gluing
geometric shapes to make their snowy village.

A snowy day...

While it was snowing outside......
.....second graders painted winter landscapes.
Landscapes showed the art concepts of foreground and background.
